Cake Decorating - Private Lessons

Hello! My name is Karen Pittock and I am a Wilton Method Cake Decorating Instructor. I teach cake decorating classes at 1522 Regent Ave. W.

If you are interested in private lessons, I charge $100 for a 2 hour session during which time I will endeavor to teach the techniques you want to learn to decorate your ideal cake.  I can help you learn how to level and torte a cake, how to use fondant, how to "build" a wedding cake that won't collapse, how to cover a cake with fondant, how to make fondant/gum paste flowers, etc.

I would be happy to make arrangements to meet with you during a time that is convenient.  I do teach regular cake classes every evening during the week.

Supplies are not included in this price.  I will share my tools during the lesson but you will need to purchase your own for home use.  The supplies needed will depend on the cake you wish to make.  You will have to provide the perishable supplies (i.e. cake, frosting, fondant, gum paste, etc.)

**Please keep in mind that a regular course lasts 2 hours, once a week, for 4 weeks.  There are four different regular courses.  I can't teach 32+ hours of techniques in two hours.  Depending on the things you want to learn, it might be more economical to take the regular classes.  Please discuss your ideas with me and I will be as honest as possible in determining what can realistically be learned in two hours.
